Since bringing the wellness program to our organization, we have been amazed at how the challenges have really excited our work force.  We notice people walking the perimeter of our facility before work, on lunch breaks, and after work almost daily.  We get frequent emails from people describing how they have lost weight and feel better.  We receive regular thank you letters from our employees for encouraging a healthier lifestyle. 

“People are drinking more water, exercising more, watching what they eat and many are losing weight.  It is fun to listen to the buzz after one of our wellness fairs.  Employees are taking this seriously: they discuss ways to eat healthier and are seeking nutritional information; they have requested a refrigerated, “healthy-snack” vending machine in the break room to replace the candy machine; they have created mini-challenges within their departments to encourage each other to continue the weight loss; and they actually read and comment on the monthly wellness newsletter.”
